Frequent Asked Questions about Long Yang Club

1. What is Long Yang Club ?

Long Yang Club is a worldwide organization for Asian / Oriental Gays and Friends. At the moment there are more then 40 clubs in the world. Every club is working independently, but share all the same goals : promoting friendship, understanding and education between men from the Far East and the Western world.

2. Do I have to be a member ?

There is one simple answer : NO ! But, of course we would like to see you as a member. There are some benefits in our membership, you get discounts for activities, you will receive magazines of newsletter (that simply depends on the LYC of your choice), sometimes you will get discounts at shops etc. And...the most important part, all members will be treated the same way, even when you visit some other Long Yang Club elsewhere. So...if you are a member, bring your membership card with you, anytime, anywhere !

3. Is Long Yang Club a contact club ?

Yes and No.

"Yes, we like to get people in touch with each other during our social events".

"No, in the way of a 'commercial' contact club. It's not the way that you pick up somebody and have fun. Long Yang Club is a social club, that means, all our activities have a social character. People are joining our activities to have a nice day or night, to have a talk, to drink something, to dance etc. And...of course, there are some people who are not open for 'relationships' or 'sex'.

So...when you are joining one of our events, take what we said in mind, all our activities are social.

4. What kind a people are visiting the events ?

Young, old, black, white and yellow. So.... everyone is welcome during our events. A social Club Meeting will attract sometimes more older people, in a quiet atmosphere it's easier to talk. Younger guys are more attracted to the Disco Nights, with loud music etc.etc. But...you have to decide it yourself. You're always welcome !

5. Privacy ?

We will never pass any name, address, telephonenumber, emailaddress etc. to any third party. So it's completely safe to be a member, and to visit one of our events. All publications (Magazines, Newsletter etc.) will be send in a plain sealed envelope, so nobody has to know you are a member.

6. What's the goal of the Helpdesk ?

Long Yang Club Holland has a Helpdesk service. If you have any questions, regarding visa's, permits etc, you can call or write our Helpdesk. This service is free for LYC-members. We won't help you in resolving problems, but we will guide you to other organizations which do.
